Christ Nagar Kindergarten is a centre for pre-primary education under the Christ Nagar Group of Schools, Trivandrum. Christ Nagar Group has two kindergartens ,one at Vellayambalam attached to the ICSE school and the other at Chavarapuram, Thiruvallom ,attached to the CBSE school. Both these kindergartens cater to the developmental and educational needs of the small children under six years of age in accordance with the contemporary principles of child education during this important formative period of the child. An advisory board of expert child educationalist gives guidance to a team of professionally trained and competent teachers under the over all supervision of the CMI Fathers at Christ Hall ,Trivandrum . Both the kindergartens were started in June 1999. Admissions are opened to all children irrespective of cast or creed.

Objectives

The objective of the Christ Nagar Kindergarten is to meet the developmental and educational needs of small children through activity oriented programmes . The children are imparted pre-learning skills allowing each child the freedom to learn them at his/her pace .The ultimate aim is to prepare the children for an educational system that will form our coming generation intellectually competent ,spiritually mature ,morally upright, psychologically integrated ,physically healthy and socially acceptable
